a tribe called quest is fucking awesome
thanksgiving break was good. i got nothing productive done. i smoked a bowl every night and just chilled out by myself. i really needed it. i guess i still do, but when would i not?
this is the last week of classes. today was the last class for creative writing and chinese religions. tomorrow will be my final classes, period. pizza party in 350. i'm looking forward to it.
i thanked my 430 professor for reading my 350 paper, and he said some rally nice things, like that it was really well written and that i explained some difficult concepts very easily. it really felt good to hear that.
like i said, i got nothing productive done over break, so this programming assignment i have due friday is still not started. i was in the lab for quite some time, and i just couldn't do it. whatever, i was going to pull an all-nighter tomorrow anyway.
big hockey weekend!! brown is #1 in the ECAC and our hated rivals harvard (boooo hisss) are actually tied at 3rd with us. too bad we all suck anyway, brown's only 12th in the nation. we're not even ranked anymore. it'll still be some good games though, i can't even imagine how the harvard game will be.
for those of you who don't understand, we HATE harvard. we fucking HATE them. they probably couldn't care less about us and maybe it's just prestige jealousy, but there isn't a student at cornell who doesn't feel a deep loathing for those stuck up prissy brats. god DAMN i fucking hate them. and the hockey rink is where we take all that emotion out. it will be a spectacle to behold.
i think i'm going to get my parents some nice bartending stuff for ch-ch-ch-channukah. on amazon you can get a chrome cocktail shaker, a 6 piece stainless steel tool kit (strainer, stirrers, etc), and a 6 piece crystal martini glass set for about $100. its a small chunk of change, but considering it's a present for BOTH parents, thats not too bad. and i think they'll like it.
they'll never believe me i'm not an alcoholic now, though.
